March 12th 2012, 2255 hrs was the time when Reach Out Malaysia - Klang Maiden Run started. The place targeted in Klang were Port Klang and the town centre.
The run was initiated by one Leo Melvin Lim. He was joined by his son Justin. I were joined by Aring and Erry from NICHe. It is difficult to find homeless people in Klang and Port Klang either because they are on the move or that there are very few of them. The places that we thought that they are there such as Little India (Jln Tengku Kelana), Bus Stand and even the jetty, we couldn't find them. Yesterday, I went to places that I thought it doesn't exist such as the place near the river Klang or the dark and smelly places under the bridges. I met a few interesting homeless people. One of them urinated while sleeping. I think he was drunk. The other kept on saying I would die soon. One of them is working as a mover of goods for a few Ringgits. One thing for sure, they are happy to receive the food. Just like in KL, they consumed the food as soon as possible. |
AuthorI am still looking for my place in this world. Along the way, I would come across many individuals. Some may need help, some don't. Archives
